The Piggy Back is a mobile Line Out device for those applications when you do not want to permanently modify your amp. The signal is taken directly from the Output transformer which is the best possible scenario for a Line Out and represents the true tone of your amp.
The possibilities are many but I like to use The Piggy Back to send a small amp’s signal into a Bassman. You get the beautiful tone of a small amp and the projection of a Bassman at any volume. This is typically referred to as “slaving” an amp. You can also use this to run an amp directly into a PA for gigs.
You simply clip on the leads to your speaker and then use the ¼” jack to send the signal to another amp/PA. No knobs. No settings. Simple.
