The 9v option is the more “typical” guitar effects power supply which is a 9v DC jack on the pedal which requires a Center Negative (typical effects pedal polarity), MINIMUM 300ma power supply.
A good example is the One Spot. Note: the 9v option does NOT have the option to run on a 9v battery.
